Michael Jackson’s Thriller Video Changed My Life!

Bollywood choreographer turned filmmaker Remo D’Souza shares how Michael Jackson impacted his life:

“My father was an Indian Airforce officer. I could tell if it’s a MiG-21 or a MiG-29 on hearing the sound of fighter planes in my classroom. I was that obsessed with airplanes! But as I grew up, I ventured into sports. I was the best 100 metres runner at the state level. Later, I got obsessed with karate and wanted to be a martial arts specialist,” he laughs. The moment of epiphany arrived when Remo first saw Michael Jackson’s video Thriller. “It changed my life. I wanted to be him. It played in my mind for a year. I practised those very steps. I’m a self-taught dancer. Nobody has taught me anything till date.”
