Children of the El-Amin International School, Abuja, Sunday, were entertained as the school organised a music concert to honour the late king of pop, Michael Jackson.
A concert with the theme: “Heal the world,” featured Michael’s choreographer, Jeffrey Daniel, and Psquare, both inspired by the late musician, was held as part of the event.
Speaking, Hajiya Jummai Sambo, the school’s director, said the essence of the concert was to remember the late musical icon.
Hajiya Sambo, who said that music helps to remove pains and worries, added: “The children deserve a better place in this world and we must all work towards this by making them happy always.”
One of the artistes who performed at the event, Jeffrey Daniel, thanked the director for organising the concert.
City News reports that children of the school danced to the music of the artistes.
Meanwhile, the National Association of Nigeria (NAN) has honoured Hajiya Sambo for her contributions to the education sector.
