The Charlotte Symphony Will Include KOP Medley For This Years’ Annual “Celebrate America!” Tribute Concerts

The 2015 Charlotte Symphony Summer Pops series brings the music of John Philip Sousa, Stephen Foster, Irving Berlin and Michael Jackson for its outdoor Celebrate America tribute concerts on July 1-3.

Led by conductor Albert-George Schram, the show will also feature patriotic songs and a salute to United States armed forces. See the musical line up below:

The gates at Symphony Park open at 5 p.m., so picnickers can settle in. Prelude performances begin at 7; the Charlotte Symphony performs at 8:15. Tickets for the July concerts are $16. (The extra $4 buys you fireworks.) Season passes for all summer programs are $48, and prices include state taxes.
