Musical comedy collective Enna Da Rascalas has taken the Michael Jackson hit “Beat it,” and made it relevant for India today.

“Beep it. Ban it” sheds light on the ridiculous ban culture that has blossomed in India in the recent past.

It mainly talks about the ban on selling or consuming beef, imposed in Maharashtra.

The offence is punishable by five years in jail.

It also talks about censorship.

The Indian censorship board recently issued a list of banned words. They also beeped out the word “lesbian” from a movie recently released.

And misplaced national priorities.
